REIKI is a Universal healing energy which practitioners are attuned to during their training
Taster sessions of 15 minutes are available, please contact us for details.
NEW - Tuesdays - Helen is a Gifted Reiki Practitioner offering Reiki (as well as Bowen Therapy) and Thursdays - Beth is a Gifted Reiki Master and Teacher and is here offering Reiki Treatments.
Reiki is a relaxing and gentle form of therapy which can be used for general relaxation or to treat specific conditions. It is not linked to any religion or belief system and is open to all age groups (under 16 will require parental consent and should have a parent or guardian present).
The therapist will initially complete a consultation with you to explain about the treatment and what your expactations are before moving to the treatment. During the consultation, you should always discuss with your therapist if you have a specific condition which requires healing.
During treatment you will remain fully clothed and be covered by a soft, warm blanket. The most common position is to be laying on your back but reiki can be given and received while laying on the stomach, side, sitting in a chair...any position most comfortable for you.
The therapist usually places their hands on the body but in the case of sensative areas, or if you prefer not to be touched, just above the body, while allowing the energy to flow through them and in to you. Soft, relaxing music will be played (you can request no music) during your treatment and often, candles and incense or scented oils are burned.
Hot Stone Therapy Massage
Stone therapy massage uses heated stones incorporated with massage techniques in order to bring about a feeling of deep relaxation and wellbeing. The hot stones are usually smooth volcanic rocks such as basalt.
The stones are placed in a preheated water bath to ensure they reach the correct, and safe, temperature. These stones are then either placed on the client, according to their needs, or held by the therapist and used with massage strokes to release tension and warm muscles, which can provide benefits that are not possible through normal massage.
The heated volcanic stones can also be used on key acupressure points as the heat relaxes the muscles, allowing for a much deeper massage. Heated stones can also be placed on the body’s chakras, or energy points, working with the body’s natural energy to create balance both physically and mentally.
Reflexology is based on the principle that certain parts of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. These parts, known as reflex points, can also be found on the hands and other parts of the body, including the face and the ears, but the most commonly treated area is the feet.
General benefits of Reflexology include:
- Reduced stress and tension
- Improved circulation
- Reduced toxicity
- Improved immunity
- Increased body awareness
Reflexology has many beneficial and lasting effects.
Some treatments are gentle in nature, aiming to restore systems for better function while others are more specific, addressing the client's particular conditions. It is a healing process that can be safely used when it is not convenient to treat other body parts. As a non-intrusive technique, it heals indirectly. Reflexology can be a relaxing therapy that works on many levels, soothing, calming, balancing and boosting the entire body.
A Reflexologist can facilitate relief for:
- Sinus pain
- Menopausal symptoms
- Pre-menstrual syndrome and other menstrual irregularities
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Shoulder pain

Why not add a Foot Reading session (approximately 15 additional minutes) or a Pedicure; or Reiki; for a small additional charge
A full Thai Yoga Massage takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Other massages can be carried out (see below) and range from 30 minutes to one hour.
The participant wears comfortable clothes, such as t-shirt and track bottoms, and lays on a futon or couch while the therapist carries out the therapy. As the name suggests, the movements are similar to a yoga workout but without the effort. The Therapist carries out all the stretching and pressure work while you lay back and relax. Don't worry if you fall asleep...we will gently wake you up at the end of the treatment (yes, it is that relaxing).

Ear Candling is a safe, pain free and relaxing method of relieving many pressure-related problems and for cleaning the ears. It has been practiced for countless generations in many countries. It works like a chimney, gently vibrating against the eardrum to balance inner ear pressure.
Ear Candles are made from unbleached cotton soaked in pure beeswax then rolled into shape. The candles we use also contain a filter to prevent any residue from entering the ear canal.

Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage originated in India over 1000 years ago and began as a way of keeping the hair in good condition. It is based on the ancient Ayurveda healing system.
During the massage, the client remains seated and fully clothed and the therapist will stand behind or slightly to the side of the client to perform the massage. During the massage, the therapist will work on the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, ears and face. The areas are massaged using firm yet gentle, rhythmic movements that involve acupressure points called Marma points.
The use of oils during the massage is optional. Indian Head Massage can be used by itself or in conjunction with other therapies. Please contact us if you have any questions about Indian Head Massage or to book an appointment.
Regular sessions of Indian head massage will result in a number of health benefits for the client. A course of treatments may be advised if a complex condition is involved. Indian head massage can be used to:
- relieve eyestrain
- relieve insomnia
- ease headaches and migraine
- relax muscles
- relax and tones facial muscles
- stimulate the hair and scalp
- help localized blood and lymphatic circulation
- boost the immune system
- restore joint movement
- relieve sinusitis
- reduce stress
- release anxiety
Indian head massage is great for relieving the stress and tension in our everyday lives. The technique uses controlled movements and has a strong effect on the three higher chakras (energy vortices in our bodies) – the mind, body and spirit. The chakra needs to remain striving and because the massage works on the neck and shoulders, tension is relieved almost instantly.
|Full body Massage + head massage - 1 1/2 hours||£45|
Massage is a relaxing therapy consisting of long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration and shaking motions that is both relaxing and invigorating, particularly where there is tension in the muscles and ligaments.
Where tension is found pressure can be applied to release knots and built up uric acid in the muscles. The movements of the massage encourage the flow of blood returning to the heart and the flushing of the lymphatic system.
The main purpose of a therapeutic Massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Some other benefits of this style of massage include shortening recovery time from muscular strain, increased circulation without increased heart load, stretching of ligaments and tendons, skin stimulation and soothing of the nervous system. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested as part of a regular program for stress management.
|Full Body Massage - 1 Hour||£35|
|Back Neck and Shoulders - 30 Mins||£25|
We also offer a half hour therapeutic Back Neck and Shoulders Massage but just working on these specific areas to relax and releasee knots and tension.
Aromatherapy Massage involves the use of essential oils during the massage. Individual blends are prepared by the practitioner in a base of cold pressed oil and then applied to the patient's skin through a remedial or relaxing massage.
As a holistic treatment, aromatherapy can have a profound effect on physical and psychological well-being. There exists the belief that scent, as the most enduring of our senses, has the power to transform our emotions and heal our bodies.

|Back Neck and Shoulders - 30 Mins||£25|
Natural Lift Face Massage
This treatment is suitable for both men and women and makes a fabulous gift!
Also known as Facial Rejuvenation or Natural Facelift, this treatment incorporates a unique combination of effective techniques from both Indian Facial Massage and Japanese Facial Massage, resulting in a treatment that removes facial tension and puffiness, reducing lines and wrinkles.
During this treatment muscles may be strengthened and toned, helping to prevent sagging, and the appearance of the facial tissue can be enhanced.
The benefits of this unique treatment:
- No side effects, compared to facial surgery
- No tools are used...only the therapist hands
- Natural non-invasive approach to feeling and looking younger
When we are stressed, our facial muscles take on most of this stress. Tension shows the strain in our faces and brings pain and stiffness to our neck and shoulders. When our muscles are tense, the flow of blood is restricted and since blood carries nutrients, we don't get all the nutrients we need. This facial massage improves blood circulation and releases any muscle tension in the face and jaw line.
Eastern cultures believe that a person needs optimum health to show their true beauty. An attractive face is still not beautiful if that person is not in good health. There is no glow of radiance to their skin. Optimal health is dependent on both physical and psychological factors being in harmony. This facial massage enhances your true beauty by encouraging your body to bring about a state of harmony and balance and restore health - naturally.
The techniques used in this massage are based on Japanese Face Massage which treats the facial meridians, helping to keep the whole body in balance and keep the energy flowing in the face. Indian Face Massage is also incorporated, based on the ancient healing philosophy of Ayurveda. Combined with Acupressure and Facial Reflexology, the manipulation techniques of this facial massage help to release stress that has being locked deep in the muscle tissue and unblock stagnant energy.
A wonderfully relaxing treatment, this is usually taken as part of a course of six sessions, followed by regular treatments thereafter.
|Single Treatment approx - 40 mins||£28|
|Book a Course of 6 Treatments for the price of 5||£125|
